Claremont House in Halifax is inspiring conversation and interaction between residents through the installation of wall murals and 3D furniture.

What Dementia wall murals & 3D furniture did we use?

Always looking for ways to help improve the lives of residents. Dementia wall murals and 3d furniture has been introduced into Claremount House. This has offered the residents greater choice and more opportunities to socialise and interact.

Working alongside Find Memory Care, the team have created a Memory Lane Corridor. The corridor comes complete with corner shop and market barrow. This allows staff to put out items that the residents can pick up. It has also created a destination point for residents to visit.

The corridor leads to the Memory Lane Café which allows residents to sit and have a drink and some food in a relaxing and attractive area.

However, it does not stop their residents also have another destination point in reception were they can go along and post their letters at their very own Post Office.
